In a typical fall arrest application, a rope grab is used to connect to a synthetic lifeline. The grab must be CSA approved for Fall Arrest and properly matched to the lifeline.
Training on how to properly use and inspect fall arrest equipment, prior to wearing or using it, is required in accordance with Provincial legislation. Any defective Fall Arrest Rope Grab Equipment must be replaced and never used.
