The Davit System is a lightweight, portable
window washing and maintenance system. The aluminum davit arms, which
support the platform, are installed in galvanized davit bases installed
around the perimeter of the building. A platform can be rigged from the
ground, where clearance permits, or from the roof. Davit bases are hot dipped galvanized and made to weather years of
exposure. The bases include rings for attaching

workers’ safety lines
where appropriate.
SSI, of course, supplies all engineered drawings for location and
installation of base anchor cages. The drawings below show some of the
davit base types and installation methods available. If you have special
